Ravana’s Journey to Maricha’s Hermitage
काञ्चनं रथमास्थाय कामगं रत्नभूषितम्।पिशाचवदनैर्युक्तं खरैः काञ्चनभूषणैः।।।।मेघप्रतिमनादेन स तेन धनदानुजः।राक्षसाधिपतिश्श्रीमान्ययौ नदनदीपतिम्।।।।
kāñcanaṃ ratham āsthāya kāmagaṃ ratnabhūṣitam |
piśācavadanair yuktaṃ kharaiḥ kāñcanabhūṣaṇaiḥ ||
meghapratimanādena sa tena dhanadānujaḥ |
rākṣasādhipatiḥ śrīmān yayau nadanadīpatim ||
သူသည် စိတ်အလိုအတိုင်း သွားနိုင်သော ရတနာအလှဆင်ထားသည့် ရွှေရထားကို စီးနင်း하였다။ ထိုရထားကို ရွှေအလှဆင်တန်ဆာဝတ်ဆင်ထားသော ပိသာစမျက်နှာရှိ မြည်းများဖြင့် ချိတ်ဆက်ထား၏။ မိုးတိမ်မုန်တိုင်းကဲ့သို့ ဂုဏ်သံကကွဲကွဲမြည်ဟုန်းသံနှင့်အတူ၊ ကုဗေရ၏ညီ ရက္ခသတို့၏အရှင် ရောင်ရမ်းတင့်တယ်သော ရာဝဏသည် မြစ်တို့၏အရှင်—သမုဒ္ဒရာ—ထံသို့ ထွက်ခွာ하였다။
