Narada (instructional narration within Uttara-Bhaga Mahatmya section)
Vrata: none
Primary Rasa: bhakti
Secondary Rasa: shanta
It links mantra-guided worship of the Goddess and reverence to Gaṇapati at a specific sacred site (Durgakūṭa) with two fruits: eligibility for svarga (heavenly merit) and immediate well-being/happiness (sukha).
It presents bhakti as concrete upāsanā—worship performed with mantras and directed to specific deities—showing that devotional acts at tirtha/kshetra settings are affirmed as effective means to attain auspicious results.
Mantra-prayoga (practical application of sacred formulas) is implied—aligned with Śikṣā (correct recitation) and Vyākaraṇa (proper word-forms) as supportive disciplines for effective ritual worship.
