Narada (narration within the Uttara-Bhaga description)
Vrata: none
Primary Rasa: bhakti
Secondary Rasa: adbhuta
It presents the auspicious bodily marks (sulakṣaṇa) of a revered divine/ideal figure, encouraging devotional contemplation (dhyāna) through sacred form—an aid to faith, purity of mind, and tirtha-oriented reverence.
By detailing charming, auspicious features, the verse supports bhakti practices like smaraṇa and dhyāna—fixing the mind on a beautiful, sacred form to cultivate love, steadiness, and reverence.
It aligns with traditional lakṣaṇa-style description used in śāstraic characterization; while not a direct Vedāṅga lesson, it echoes the disciplined use of precise description valued in Vyākaraṇa-informed textual tradition and iconographic conventions.
