Śānta
Vrata: none
Primary Rasa: shanta
Secondary Rasa: bhakti
The verse highlights that ancestral duty (śrāddha and piṇḍa) becomes spiritually elevating when consciously offered to Kṛṣṇa, linking pitṛ-dharma with devotion.
Bhakti is shown as actionable within household rites: even funeral offerings are directed to Kṛṣṇa, expressing surrender and remembrance of the Lord through prescribed dharma.
It reflects Kalpa (ritual procedure) through the śrāddha/piṇḍa act and its correct recipient/intention—how rites are performed and dedicated within dharma-śāstric practice.
