Narada
Vrata: Ekadashi
Primary Rasa: bhakti
Secondary Rasa: vira
It declares unwavering resolve: Ekādaśī is presented as a non-negotiable dharmic observance, upheld even if the natural order (ocean and fire) were to reverse—highlighting its supreme sanctity in devotional life.
By stressing steadfastness in Ekādaśī-vrata, the verse frames bhakti as consistent practice and loyalty to Vishnu-centered disciplines, not dependent on convenience or changing circumstances.
It implicitly relies on Jyotiṣa (Vedāṅga astrology/astronomy) for identifying the tithi (Ekādaśī) correctly and on Kalpa (ritual procedure) for maintaining a vrata with firm resolve.
