Adhyaya 83 — The Slaying of Mahishasura’s Armies and the Final Death of Mahishasura
सा क्षिप्त्वा तस्य वै पाशं तं बबन्ध महासुरम् ।
तत्याज माहिषं रूपं सोऽपि बद्धो महामृधे ॥
sā kṣiptvā tasya vai pāśaṃ taṃ babandha mahāsuram /
tatyāja māhiṣaṃ rūpaṃ so 'pi baddho mahāmṛdhe
သူမသည် မိမိ၏ ကြိုးကွင်းကို သူ့အပေါ် ပစ်ချ၍ ထိုအသူရကြီးကို ချည်နှောင်လေ၏။ စစ်ပွဲကြီးအတွင်း ချည်နှောင်ခံရသော်လည်း သူသည် မဟိષ (ကျွဲ) ရုပ်သဏ္ဌာန်ကို စွန့်လွှတ်လေ၏။
