Adhyaya 73 — The Uttama Manvantara: Classes of Devas, Indra Sushanti, and the Royal Lineage
तत्सूतिसम्भवैर्भूमिः पालिताभून्नरेश्वरैः ।
यावन्मन्वन्तर तस्य मनोरुत्तमतेजसः ॥
tatsūtisambhavair bhūmiḥ pālitābhūn nareśvaraiḥ | yāvan manvantara tasya manor uttamatejasaḥ ||
ထိုသူ၏ မျိုးဆက်မှ မွေးဖွားသော မင်းများကြောင့် မြေကြီးကို ကာကွယ်စောင့်ရှောက်ခဲ့ကြပြီး၊ ထိုတောက်ပမြင့်မြတ်သော မနု၏ မန်ဝန္တရ ကာလတစ်လျှောက်လုံး ထိုကာကွယ်မှုသည် ဆက်လက်တည်ရှိ하였다။
The king’s archetypal duty is bhū-pālana (protection of the earth and subjects); governance is treated as a sacred continuity aligned with cosmic time-cycles.
Manvantara and Vaṃśa: it links the Manu-era to the sustaining royal line that operates within it.
‘Earth protected throughout the Manvantara’ implies dharma as a stabilizing force that must be renewed generation by generation to match the rhythm of cosmic cycles.
