नोद्धूतोन्मत्तमूढैश्च नाविनीतैश्च पण्डितः ।

गच्छेन्मैत्रीं न चाशीलेर्न च चौर्यादिदूषितैः ॥

noddhūtonmattamūḍhaiś ca nāvinītaiś ca paṇḍitaḥ / gacchen maitrīṃ na cāśīlair na ca cauryādidūṣitaiḥ

ပညာတတ်သူသည် မာနကြီးသူ၊ စိတ်မမှန်သူ၊ မိုက်မဲသူ၊ စည်းကမ်းမဲ့သူတို့နှင့် မပေါင်းသင်းရ။ အကျင့်ပျက်သူတို့နှင့်လည်း မိတ်ဖွဲ့မရ၊ ခိုးမှုနှင့် ထိုကဲ့သို့သော အပြစ်အနာအဆာများကြောင့် မသန့်ရှင်းသူတို့နှင့်လည်း မပေါင်းသင်းရ။
