Adhyaya 23 — Ashvatara’s Vow for Madalasa and the Bestowal of Musical Science by Sarasvati
तथैव चास्मन्मनसि नात्र चिन्त्यमतोऽन्यथा ।
किन्त्वावयोः स्वयं पित्रा प्रोक्तमेतन्महात्मना ॥
tathaiva cāsmanmanasi nātra cintyam ato 'nyathā / kintvāvayoḥ svayaṃ pitrā proktam etan mahātmanā
«ဤသို့ပင် ကျွန်ုပ်တို့၏ စိတ်၌ ရှိ၏။ အခြားသို့ သံသယမရှိ။ သို့ရာတွင် ဤစကားကို ကျွန်ုပ်တို့၏ ကိုယ်ပိုင် အဖ—မဟာစိတ်ဓာတ်ရှိသူ—က ကျွန်ုပ်တို့အား မိန့်ကြားခဲ့သည်»။
