Adhyaya 22 — Kuvalayashva’s Death through Daitya-Deceit and Madalasa’s Self-Immolation
विप्राणं मम धर्मस्य गतः स हि महामतिः ।
आनृण्यमर्धभुक्तस्य त्यागाद् देहस्य मे सुतः ॥
viprāṇaṃ mama dharmasya gataḥ sa hi mahāmatiḥ |
ānṛṇyam ardha-bhuktasya tyāgād dehasya me sutaḥ ||
“စိတ်ကြီးမြတ်သူသည် ဗြာဟ္မဏနှင့် ငါ၏ဓမ္မကို အထောက်အပံ့အဖြစ် သွားရောက်ခဲ့သည်။ ငါ့သားသည် သတ်မှတ်အသက်၏ တစ်ဝက်သာ ခံစားပြီးနောက် ကိုယ်ခန္ဓာကို စွန့်လွှတ်ခြင်းဖြင့် အကြွေးကင်းခြင်းကို ရောက်ရှိ하였다။”
