एष वृद्धाननाथांश्व पड्गूनन्धांश्व मानवान् । पुत्रवत् पालयामास प्रजा धर्मेण वै विभु:,ये बूढ़े, अनाथ, पंगू और अंधे मनुष्योंका भी स्नेहपूर्वक पालन करते थे। ये नरेश अपनी प्रजाकी धर्मपूर्वक पुत्रकी भाँति रक्षा करते थे
eṣa vṛddhān anāthāṁś ca paṅgūn andhāṁś ca mānavān | putravat pālayāmāsa prajā dharmeṇa vai vibhuḥ ||
ထိုအင်အားကြီးသော မင်းသည် မိမိပြည်သူတို့အနက် အိုမင်းသူ၊ အကူအညီမဲ့သူ၊ ခြေမသန်သူ၊ မျက်မမြင်သူတို့ကိုပါ ကာကွယ်စောင့်ရှောက်하였다။ ဓမ္မကို ထိန်းသိမ်းကာ မိမိကလေးကို စောင့်ရှောက်ပျိုးထောင်သကဲ့သို့ မေတ္တာဖြင့် ပြည်သူတို့ကို ထိန်းကွပ်စောင့်ရှောက်ခဲ့သည်—ကရုဏာနှင့် တရားသည့်တာဝန်ပေါ် အခြေခံသော မင်းအုပ်ချုပ်ရေး၏ စံနမူနာဖြစ်သည်။
