त॑ दृष्टवा व्यापृतं गोषु वत्सचर्मक्षपाशयम्‌ । सहदेवं युधां श्रेष्ठ कि नु जीवामि पाण्डव

taṁ dṛṣṭvā vyāpṛtaṁ goṣu vatsacarmakṣapāśayam | sahadevaṁ yudhāṁ śreṣṭha ki nu jīvāmi pāṇḍava pāṇḍunandana ||

ပाण्डု၏သား၊ စစ်သူရဲတို့အနက် အမြတ်ဆုံးဖြစ်သော သဟဒေဝကို နွားများကို ထိန်းကျောင်းစောင့်ရှောက်ရာတွင် မနားမနေနှင့်၊ ညအခါ နွားကလေးအရေများပေါ်တွင် အိပ်နေရသည်ကို မြင်ရသော်—သူမက ညည်းတွားသည်– «ငါသည် ဘာအတွက် အသက်ရှင်နေရမည်နည်း»။
