युधिष्ठिरस्य अर्जुनप्रेषण-युक्तिवर्णनम् | Yudhiṣṭhira’s Rationale for Sending Arjuna and Request to Dhaumya
उपस्पृश्य ततस्तत्र कक्षीवानिव मोदते । यक्षिण्या नैत्यकं तत्र प्राश्नीत पुरुष: शुचि:
upaspṛśya tatastatra kakṣīvān iva modate | yakṣiṇyā naityakaṃ tatra prāśnīt puruṣaḥ śuciḥ ||
သန့်စင်ရေးအဖြစ် ရေကို စုပ်သောက်ခြင်း (upaspṛśya) ကို ပြုလုပ်ပြီးနောက်၊ သူသည် ကက္ခီဝါန် (Kakṣīvān) ကဲ့သို့ ထိုနေရာ၌ ပျော်ရွှင်မြူးတူး하였다။ ထိုနေရာ၌ပင် သန့်ရှင်းသော လူသည် ယက္ခိဏီ၏ နိုင်တျက (naityaka) ပူဇော်သက္ကာကို စားသုံး하였다—အလွန်အကျွံ မဟုတ်ဘဲ အခမ်းအနားတရားနှင့် စည်းကမ်းတကျ ပြုလုပ်သည့် လုပ်ရပ်အဖြစ် ဖော်ပြထားသည်။
