आकाशं तदपानीयं घोरं कान्तारदर्शनम् । न तत्र वृक्षच्छाया वा पानीयं केतनानि च
ākāśaṃ tadapānīyaṃ ghoraṃ kāntāradarśanam | na tatra vṛkṣacchāyā vā pānīyaṃ ketanāni ca ||
«ထိုဒေသသည် ကောင်းကင်ဗလာကဲ့သို့—ရေမရှိ—မြင်ကွင်းမှာ ကြောက်မက်ဖွယ် တောကန္တာရတစ်ခုနှင့်တူ၏။ ထိုနေရာ၌ သစ်ပင်အရိပ်မရှိ၊ သောက်ရေမရှိ၊ နေထိုင်ရာ အိမ်အကာအကွယ်လည်း မရှိ။»
