प्राज्ञोपसेविन वैद्यं धार्मिकं प्रियदर्शनम् । मित्रवन्तं सुवाक्यं च सुहृदं परिपालयेत्,जो दविद्वानोंकी सेवामें रहनेवाला, वैद्य, धार्मिक, देखनेमें सुन्दर, मित्रोंसे युक्त तथा मधुरभाषी हो, ऐसे सुहृदकी सर्वथा रक्षा करनी चाहिये
prājñopasevinaṃ vaidyaṃ dhārmikaṃ priyadarśanam | mitravantaṃ suvākyaṃ ca suhṛdaṃ paripālayet ||
ဝိဒုရက ပြောသည်—ပညာရှိတို့နှင့် ပေါင်းသင်းနေသူ၊ ဆရာဝန်ကဲ့သို့ ကျွမ်းကျင်သူ၊ ဓမ္မကိုလိုက်နာသူ၊ မြင်ရသော်လည်း နှစ်သက်ဖွယ်ကောင်းသူ၊ မိတ်ဆွေများစွာရှိသူ၊ စကားချိုသာ၍ သင့်လျော်စွာ ပြောတတ်သူ—ဤသို့သော ကောင်းမြတ်သော မိတ်ဆွေကို အစဉ်အမြဲ ကာကွယ်ထိန်းသိမ်း၍ ထောက်ပံ့ရမည်။ ထိုသူသည် မိမိအကျိုးအတွက် အကာအကွယ်ဖြစ်သဖြင့် အားလုံးသော ကြိုးပမ်းမှုဖြင့် ထိန်းထားသင့်သည်။
