Bhīṣma’s Dream-Counsel and the Prasvāpa Astra (भीष्मस्वप्नदर्शनम् / प्रस्वापास्त्रोपदेशः)
क्षत्रियस्थ तु धर्मोड्यं यद् युद्धे भूगुनन्दन । स्वाध्यायो व्रतचर्याथ ब्राह्मणानां परं धनम्
kṣatriyasya tu dharmo ’yaṃ yad yuddhe bhṛgunandana | svādhyāyo vratacaryā ca brāhmaṇānāṃ paraṃ dhanam ||
ဘီရှ္မက ပြောသည်– «ဘ္ဟೃဂု၏ မျိုးဆက်ရေ၊ က္ṣတ္ရိယအတွက် သင့်လျော်သော ဓမ္မတာဝန်ဟူသည် စစ်မြေပြင်၌ မတုန်မလှုပ် တည်ကြည်စွာ ရပ်တည်ခြင်းပင် ဖြစ်၏။ သို့ရာတွင် ဗြာဟ္မဏတို့အတွက် အမြင့်ဆုံးသော ဥစ္စာမှာ ဝေဒကို စည်းကမ်းတကျ သင်ယူလေ့လာခြင်းနှင့် မြင့်မြတ်သော ဝြတများကို စောင့်ထိန်းခြင်းပင် ဖြစ်၏»။
