यदुश्च भरतश्रेष्ठ देवयान्या: सुतो5भवत् । दौहित्रस्तात शुक्रस्य काव्यस्यामिततेजस:,“भरतश्रेष्ठ! यदु देवयानीके पुत्र थे। तात! वे अमित तेजस्वी शुक्राचार्यके दौहित्र लगते थे
bharataśreṣṭha! yaduś ca devayānyāḥ suto 'bhavat | dauhitraḥ tāta śukrasya kāvyasyāmitatejasaḥ ||
အို ဘာရတတို့အနက် အမြတ်ဆုံးသူရေ။ ယဒုသည် ဒေဝယာနီ (Devayānī) ၏ သားဖြစ်၏။ ချစ်သောသူရေ၊ သူသည် အလွန်တောက်ပသော သုက္ကရ (Śukra) — ကာဝျ (Kāvya) ဟုလည်း ခေါ်သောသူ၏ သမီးဘက်မြေး ဖြစ်၏။
वायुदेव उवाच
The verse emphasizes the moral and social significance of lineage: a ruler’s identity and obligations are framed through ancestry, here linking Yadu to Devayānī and to Śukra (Kāvya), suggesting inherited authority and responsibility.
Vāyudeva identifies Yadu’s parentage and maternal ancestry, stating that Yadu was Devayānī’s son and the maternal grandson of the powerful Śukra (Kāvya), situating Yadu within a revered genealogical line.
