Udyoga Parva Adhyaya 133 — A Mother’s Counsel to Saṃjaya
अपारे भव न: पारमप्लवे भव न: प्लवः । कुरुष्व स्थानमस्थाने मृतान् संजीवयस्व न:
apāre bhava naḥ pāram aplave bhava naḥ plavaḥ | kuruṣva sthānam asthāne mṛtān saṃjīvayasva naḥ | ekaśatrūvadhenaiva śūro gacchati viśrutim |
“ကမ်းမရှိသော အကျယ်အဝန်းတွင် ငါတို့အတွက် ကမ်းဖြစ်ပါစေ။ လှေမရှိသည့်အခါ ငါတို့အတွက် လှေဖြစ်ပါစေ။ ခြေကပ်ရာမရှိသည့်နေရာတွင် တည်ငြိမ်သော အခြေခံကို ဖန်တီးပေးပါ၊ ကျဆုံးသူတို့ကို သေသူကို ပြန်လည်အသက်သွင်းသကဲ့သို့ ကယ်တင်ပါ။ ရန်သူတစ်ယောက်တည်းကို သတ်နိုင်ခြင်းဖြင့်ပင် သူရဲကောင်းသည် ကမ္ဘာတစ်ဝှမ်း ကျော်ကြားမှုကို ရရှိတတ်သည်။”
