Svargārohaṇa-parva Adhyāya 5 — Karmaphala-Nirdeśa and Phalāśruti (कर्मफलनिर्देशः फलश्रुतिश्च)
कार्ष्ण॑ वेदमिमं सर्व शृणुयाद् यः समाहित: । ब्रह्महत्यादिपापानां कोटिस्तस्य विनश्यति,जो एकाग्रचित होकर इस सम्पूर्ण “कार्ष्ण वेदैं” का श्रवण करता है उसके ब्रह्महत्या आदि करोड़ों पापोंका नाश हो जाता है
kārṣṇa vedaṃ imaṃ sarvaṃ śṛṇuyād yaḥ samāhitaḥ | brahmahatyādipāpānāṃ koṭis tasya vinaśyati ||
ဝိုင်သမ္ပာယနက ပြောသည်—စိတ်ကို စုစည်းတည်ငြိမ်၍ တစ်ချက်တည်းအာရုံစိုက်ကာ ဤ “ကာရ္ဍ္ဏ-ဝေဒ” အပြည့်အစုံကို နားထောင်သူ၏ အပြစ်များသည်—ဗြဟ္မဏသတ်ခြင်း (ဗြဟ္မဟတ္တျာ) ကဲ့သို့သော အကြီးအကျယ်အပြစ်များမှ စ၍ ကုဋိကုဋိ များစွာတိုင်အောင်—ပျက်စီးကုန်၏။
