कूटशाल्मलिकं चापि दुःस्पर्श तीक्ष्णकण्टकम्‌ । ददर्श चापि कौन्तेयो यातना: पापकर्मिणाम्‌

Transliteration

kūṭaśālmalikaṃ cāpi duḥsparśa-tīkṣṇa-kaṇṭakam | dadarśa cāpi kaunteyo yātanāḥ pāpa-karmiṇām ||

Translation

ဝိုင်ရှမ္ပာယနက ပြောသည်။ ကုန္တီ၏ သားတော်သည် လှည့်စားသည့် ရှာလ္မလီ (ပိုးပင်) သစ်ပင်များကိုလည်း မြင်၏—ထိကိုင်ရန်ပင် ခက်ခဲလောက်အောင် ထက်မြက်သော ဆူးများဖြင့် ပြည့်နှက်နေ၏။ ထို့ပြင် ထိုနေရာတွင် အပြစ်ကမ္မပြုသူတို့အပေါ် ချမှတ်နေသော ပြင်းထန်သည့် ညှဉ်းပန်းမှုများကိုလည်း မြင်ခဲ့၏။
