Vāmadeva’s Counsel on Rooted Kingship and Non-violent Victory (वामदेवोपदेशः—दृढमूलराजधर्मः)
यस्य स्फीतो जनपद: सम्पन्न: प्रिययाजक: । संतुष्टपुष्टसचिवो दृढमूल: स पार्थिव:
yasya sphīto janapadaḥ sampannaḥ priyayājakaḥ | santuṣṭa-puṣṭa-sacivo dṛḍha-mūlaḥ sa pārthivaḥ ||
ဝါမဒေဝက ဆိုသည်—ပြည်နယ်မြေ ပွားပွားလန်းလန်းဖြစ်၍ စားနပ်ရိက္ခာနှင့် ဥစ္စာပစ္စည်း ပြည့်စုံကာ၊ မင်းကို ချစ်ခင်လေးစား၍ ပူဇော်လိုစိတ်ရှိသော ပြည်သူများဖြင့် ပြည့်နှက်ပြီး၊ စိတ်ကျေနပ်ကာ အားအင်ပြည့်ဝသော အမတ်များဖြင့် တင့်တယ်သော မင်းသည် အမြစ်အုတ်မြစ် ခိုင်မာသော မင်းဟု မှတ်ယူရမည်။ ထိုသို့ စည်းစိမ်နှင့် စိတ်ကျေနပ်သော အုပ်ချုပ်မှုသည် အာဏာ၏ တည်ငြိမ်သော အခြေခံကို ပြသသည်။
