Vāmadeva’s Rājadharma: Norm-Setting, Counsel, and the Prevention of Rāṣṭra-Vināśa (वामदेव-प्रोक्तं राजधर्मम्)
अग्राम्यचरितां वृत्ति यो न सेवेत नित्यदा | जितानामजितानां च क्षत्रधर्मादपैति सः
agrāmyacaritāṁ vṛttiṁ yo na seveta nityadā | jitānām ajitānāṁ ca kṣatradharmād apaiti saḥ ||
ဝါမဒေဝက ဆိုသည်– ယဉ်ကျေးသိမ်မွေ့၍ မရိုင်းပျသော အပြုအမူကို အစဉ်မပြတ် မလိုက်နာသူ၊ ယှဉ်ကျေးသူတို့ ကျင့်သုံးလာသည့် နည်းလမ်းကို မထိန်းသိမ်းသူ၊ ထို့ပြင် အရှုံးခံသူဖြစ်စေ အနိုင်ရသူဖြစ်စေ သူတို့၏ တည်မြဲလာသော ကျင့်ဝတ်စည်းကမ်းများမှ လွဲချော်စေသူသည် က္ෂတ္တရိယဓမ္မမှ ကွာဟသွားသည်။ အကျင့်သိက္ခာနှင့် တရားသင့်သော စံနှုန်းများကို ရန်သူအပေါ်တောင် ထိန်းသိမ်းနိုင်ခြင်းကပင် မင်းသား၏ တာဝန်ကို ထောက်တည်သည်။
