Vāmadeva’s Rājadharma: Norm-Setting, Counsel, and the Prevention of Rāṣṭra-Vināśa (वामदेव-प्रोक्तं राजधर्मम्)
रक्षितात्मा च यो राजा रक्ष्यान् यश्चानुरक्षति । प्रजाश्न॒ तस्य वर्धन्ते ध्रुवं च महदश्षुते
rakṣitātmā ca yo rājā rakṣyān yaścānurakṣati | prajāś ca tasya vardhante dhruvaṃ ca mahad aśnute ||
ဝါမဒေဝက မိန့်တော်မူသည်။ မင်းတစ်ပါးသည် မိမိကိုယ်ကို အရင်ကာကွယ်ပြီးနောက် ကာကွယ်ထိုက်သူတို့ကို အစဉ်အမြဲ စောင့်ရှောက်ကာကွယ်လျှင်၊ ထိုမင်း၏ ပြည်သူပြည်သားတို့သည် တိုးတက်ချမ်းသာလာမည်။ ထိုမင်းကိုယ်တိုင်လည်း မသံသယဘဲ ကြီးမားသော အကျိုးफलကို ရရှိမည်။
