राजधर्मः—प्रमादवर्जनं, दण्डनीतिः, दुर्बलरक्षणम्

भीष्म उवाच स एवमुक्तो मान्धाता तेनोतथ्येन भारत । कृतवानविशड्कश्न एक: प्राप च मेदिनीम्
bhīṣma uvāca | sa evam ukto māndhātā tenotathyena bhārata | kṛtavān aviśaṅkaḥ sa ekaḥ prāpa ca medinīm |
ဘီရှ္မက ပြော၏— «အို ဘာရတမျိုးနွယ်ဝင်၊ ဥတသျ၏ ညွှန်ကြားချက်ကို ထိုသို့ ခံယူပြီးနောက် မန္ဓာတာမင်းသည် မသံသယမရှိဘဲ သူ၏ အမိန့်ကို လိုက်နာဆောင်ရွက်하였다။ ထို့ကြောင့် သူတစ်ဦးတည်းကပင် မြေကြီးတစ်လွှားကို အထွေထွေ အာဏာပိုင်အဖြစ် အုပ်စိုးနိုင်ခဲ့သည်»။
