तस्मादर्थाच्च कामाच्च धर्म एवोत्तरो भवेत्‌ । अस्मिल्लोके परे चैव धर्मात्मा सुखमेधते

Transliteration

tasmād arthāc ca kāmāc ca dharma evottaro bhavet | asmillo ke pare caiva dharmātmā sukham edhate ||

Translation

ထို့ကြောင့် မှန်ကန်စွာ စဉ်းစားသော် ဓမ္မတစ်ပါးတည်းသာ ဥစ္စာ (artha) နှင့် ဆန္ဒ (kāma) ထက် မြင့်မြတ်ကြောင်း ထင်ရှားသည်။ ဓမ္မကို အခြေခံသောသူသည် ဤလောက၌လည်း၊ နောက်လောက၌လည်း ပျော်ရွှင်ခြင်းဖြင့် ရှင်သန်တိုးတက်သည်။
