सान्त्व-निति: (Sāntva-Nīti) — The One-Word Principle of Conciliation
यस्तु सर्वमभिप्रेक्ष्य पूर्वमेवाभिभाषते । स्मितपूर्वाभिभाषी च तस्य लोक: प्रसीदति,जो सभीको देखकर पहले ही बात करता है और सबसे मुसकराकर ही बोलता है, उसपर सब लोग प्रसन्न रहते हैं
yas tu sarvam abhiprekṣya pūrvam evābhibhāṣate | smitapūrvābhibhāṣī ca tasya lokaḥ prasīdati ||
သို့သော် လူအားလုံးကို ကြည့်ရှုသုံးသပ်ပြီး အရင်ဆုံး စကားပြောတတ်သူ၊ စကားစတင်ရာတွင် အပြုံးနှင့်တကွ ပြောဆိုတတ်သူအပေါ် လူတို့သည် ကြည်နူးပျော်ရွှင်ကြ၏။ သူ့ပတ်ဝန်းကျင်လောကသည်လည်း စိတ်ကျေနပ်၍ မျက်နှာသာပေးလာ၏။
