राज्ञो वृत्त-गुण-संग्रहः (Conduct and the Thirty-Six Virtues of a King) / The King’s Code of Conduct
एवं चरस्व राज्यस्थो यदि श्रेय इहेच्छसि । अतोडन्यथा नरपतिर्भयमृत्छत्यनुत्तमम्
evaṁ carasva rājyastho yadi śreya ihecchasi | ato ’nyathā narapatir bhayam ṛcchaty anuttamam, yudhiṣṭhira ||
ဘီရှ္မက မိန့်ကြားသည်– «ဤလောက၌ ကောင်းကျိုးချမ်းသာကို လိုလားပါက မင်းအာဏာ၌ တည်မြဲ၍ ဤသို့ပင် ကျင့်ကြံလော့။ ထိုသို့မဟုတ်ဘဲ ဆန့်ကျင်ကျင့်သော မင်းသည် အလွန်ကြီးမားသော ဘေးအန္တရာယ်နှင့် မနှိုင်းယှဉ်နိုင်သော ကြောက်ရွံ့မှုထဲသို့ ကျရောက်တတ်သည်၊ ယုဓိဋ္ဌိရရေ!»
