तृषितेन च कौन्तेय भिक्षितश्रित्रभानुना । सहस्रबाहुर्विक्रान्त: प्रादाद् भिक्षामथाग्नये
tṛṣitena ca kaunteya bhikṣitena śikhitrabhānunā | sahasrabāhur vikrāntaḥ prādād bhikṣām athāgnaye ||
ဝါစုဒေဝက ပြောသည်– «ကောန္တီ၏ သားတော်ရေ၊ တစ်ခါက မီးနတ် အဂ္နိသည် မီးတောင်ပေါ်က မီးလျှံကဲ့သို့ တောက်ပလင်းလက်သော်လည်း ဆာလောင်ခြင်းနှင့် ရေငတ်ခြင်းကြောင့် ပင်ပန်းနွမ်းနယ်နေခဲ့သည်။ ထိုအခါ သဟသ္ရဗာဟု အာర్జုန—ရဲရင့်သန်မာသူ—သည် အဂ္နိတောင်းဆိုသော ဘိက္ခာကို ပေးအပ်하였다»။ ဤအဖြစ်အပျက်သည် သင့်လျော်သူအား ဒါနပေးခြင်းနှင့် နတ်ဘုရား၏ တောင်းဆိုမှုကို မနှောင့်နှေးဘဲ လေးစားလိုက်နာခြင်းကို ထင်ဟပ်စေသည်။

Kṛṣṇa (Vāsudeva) recalls an earlier episode: Agni, suffering hunger and thirst, approached Sahasrabāhu Arjuna for “bhikṣā” (a requested gift). Sahasrabāhu Arjuna, famed for valor, granted Agni what he asked for.
