भीष्म उवाच अत्राप्युदाहरन्तीममितिहासं पुरातनम्‌ । ऋषीणां चैव संवादं त्रिदशानां च भारत

Transliteration

bhīṣma uvāca | atrāpy udāharantīmam itihāsaṃ purātanam | ṛṣīṇāṃ caiva saṃvādaṃ tridaśānāṃ ca bhārata ||

Translation

ဘိဿမက ပြောသည်– «ဟေ့ ဘာရတမျိုးဆက်ရေ၊ ဒီကိစ္စနဲ့ပတ်သက်ပြီး ပညာရှိတို့ကလည်း ရှေးဟောင်း အတ္ထုပ္ပတ္တိတစ်ပုဒ်ကို ဥပမာအဖြစ် ထုတ်ပြောကြတတ်သည်—ရိရှီတို့နှင့် ဒေဝတားတို့အကြား ဆွေးနွေးပြောဆိုမှုအဖြစ် ဖွဲ့ထားသော ရှေးသမိုင်းတစ်ပုဒ်ပင်»
