Systems of Knowledge and Vyāsa’s Nārāyaṇa-Origin
अहिंस्न: शुचिरक्षुद्रो निराशी: कर्मसंस्तुत: । आरण्यकपदोदभूता भागास्तत्रोपकल्पिता:
ahiṃsnaḥ śucir akṣudro nirāśīḥ karmasaṃstutaḥ | āraṇyakapadodbhūtā bhāgās tatropakalpitāḥ ||
ဘီရှ္မက မိန့်တော်မူသည်– «သူတို့သည် အကြမ်းဖက်မှုကင်း၍ သန့်ရှင်းကြပြီး စိတ်ဓာတ်ကျယ်ပြန့်ကြသည်။ ကိုယ်ပိုင်လိုချင်တပ်မက်မှုမရှိဘဲ ချီးမွမ်းထိုက်သော စိတ်ထားဖြင့် ကမ္မကို ဆောင်ရွက်ကြ၏။ ထိုယဇ္ဉ၌ နတ်တို့အတွက် သတ်မှတ်သော အပိုင်းများကို တောထဲမှ ပေါက်ဖွားသော ပူဇော်သက္ကာ—အသီးအနှံ၊ အမြစ်အမျိုးမျိုး စသည်တို့ဖြင့် စီစဉ်ထားခဲ့သည်။ ထိုသည်မှာ ထိခိုက်နာကျင်စေခြင်းမရှိသော အဟിംသာနှင့် ရိုးရှင်းမှုအပေါ် အခြေခံသည့် ဓမ္မတရားနှင့်ညီသော ယဇ္ဉပုံစံကို ပြသသည်»။
