The Account of Suvarṇaṣṭhīvin
नारद उवाच एवमेतन्महाबाहो यथायं केशवोडब्रवीत् । कार्यस्यास्य तु यच्छेष॑ तत् ते वक्ष्यामि पृच्छत:
nārada uvāca evam etan mahābāho yathāyaṃ keśavo 'bravīt | kāryasyāsya tu yac cheṣaṃ tat te vakṣyāmi pṛcchataḥ ||
နာရဒ မိန့်တော်မူသည်– «မဟာဗာဟု၊ ကေသဝ (ကృష్ణ) မိန့်ကြားသကဲ့သို့ အမှန်တကယ် ထိုသို့ပင် ဖြစ်၏။ ဤကိစ္စနှင့် ပတ်သက်၍ မပြောရသေးသည့် အပိုင်းကျန်ကို သင်၏ မေးမြန်းချက်အတိုင်း ငါ ရှင်းလင်းပြောကြားမည်»။
नारद उवाच
The verse emphasizes fidelity to authoritative instruction: Nārada affirms that Kṛṣṇa’s statement is true and then commits to completing the explanation, showing that ethical understanding (dharma) is transmitted through reliable testimony and careful, question-led teaching.
Nārada, as the speaker, confirms what Kṛṣṇa (Keśava) previously said on the topic under discussion and tells the listener (addressed as “mighty-armed”) that he will now explain the remaining points in response to the listener’s questions.
