Jarā-Mṛtyu-anatikrama: Janaka–Pañcaśikha-saṃvāda

Aging and Death Cannot Be Overstepped

तदा क्षरत्वं प्रकृतिर्गच्छते गुणसंश्रिता । निर्गुणत्वं च वैदेह गुणेष्वप्रतिवर्तनात्‌

tadā kṣaratvaṁ prakṛtir gacchate guṇa-saṁśritā | nirguṇatvaṁ ca vaideha guṇeṣv aprativartanāt, videha-rāja |

ဝသိဋ္ဌက ပြော၏ — «ထိုအခါ သုံးဂုဏ် (တရိဂုဏ) ကို အခြေခံထားသော ပရကృతిသည် ပျက်စီးပြောင်းလဲနိုင်သော အခြေအနေသို့ ကျရောက်သွားသည်။ သို့ရာတွင် ပုရုသ၊ ဗိဒေဟ မင်းကြီး၊ ဂုဏ်တို့ထံ မလှည့်မဝင် မပတ်သက်သဖြင့် ‘နိရ္ဂုဏ’ (ဂုဏ်တို့၏ အာဏာကို ကျော်လွန်သူ) ဖြစ်လာသည်။ ဗိဒေဟ၏ မင်းကြီး၊ ဤသည်က ခွဲခြားချက်ဖြစ်သည် — သဘာဝသည် ဂုဏ်နှင့်ချည်နှောင်သော လှုပ်ရှားမှုကြောင့် ပျက်ယွင်းသော်လည်း အတ္တသည် မပတ်သက်ခြင်းကြောင့် လွတ်မြောက်သည်»။
