Viṣṇor Māhātmya and Indriya-saṃyama (विष्णोर्माहात्म्यं तथा इन्द्रियसंयमः)
सा तु शापपरित्रस्ता तत्स्वभावानुवर्तिनी । मायूरजीर्णपर्णानां वस्त्र तस्याश्व वर्णितम्
sā tu śāpaparitrastā tatsvabhāvānuvartinī | māyūra-jīrṇa-parṇānāṃ vastraṃ tasyāś ca varṇitam ||
နာရဒက ပြောသည်– သူမသည် ကျိန်စာကို ကြောက်ရွံ့သဖြင့် ခင်ပွန်း၏ သဘောသဘာဝနှင့် စိတ်နေစိတ်ထားကို အပြည့်အဝ လိုက်နာပြုမူခဲ့သည်။ သူမ၏အဝတ်အစားသည် မော်ရ်ငှက်များ၏ အဟောင်းကျပြီး ကျွတ်ကျသွားသော အမွှေးတောင်များကို စုပေါင်းချုပ်ဆက်၍ ကိုယ်ကို ဖုံးအုပ်ထားသည်ဟု ဆိုကြသည်။
