Śaṅkha–Likhita Upākhyāna: Daṇḍa, Confession, and the Purification of Kingship (शङ्ख-लिखितोपाख्यानम्)
विद्यस्ते पुरुषव्याप्र वचनं कुरुसत्तम । शृणुष्वैवं यथा कुर्वन् न धर्माच्च्यवसे नूप
Vaiśampāyana uvāca: vidyā te puruṣavyāghra vacanaṃ kurusattama | śṛṇuṣvaivaṃ yathā kurvan na dharmāc cyavase nṛpa ||
ဝိုင်ရှမ္ပာယန မိန့်ကြားသည်– «လူတို့အနက် ကျားကဲ့သို့သောသူ၊ ကူရုတို့အနက် အကောင်းဆုံးသူ၊ သင်၏ ရည်ရွယ်ချက်ကို ငါနားလည်၏။ ယခု ငါ၏ အကြံဉာဏ်ကို နားထောင်လော့။ ထိုအတိုင်း ဆောင်ရွက်ပါက မင်းကြီး၊ သင်သည် ဓမ္မမှ မလွဲချော်လိမ့်မည်။»
