भिक्षुलक्षणम्—एकचर्याः, अहिंसा, कैवल्याश्रमः

आक्रीडानां गृहाणां च गदानामगदस्य च । प्रज्ञावन्त: प्रयोक्तारो ज्ञानवद्धिरनुछिता:

Transliteration

ākrīḍānāṁ gṛhāṇāṁ ca gadānām agadasya ca | prajñāvantaḥ prayoktāro jñānavaddhir anucchitāḥ ||

Translation

ဗျာသက မိန့်တော်မူသည်—ကစားရန်နေရာနှင့် နေထိုင်ရန်အိမ်တို့ကို ရည်ရွယ်ချက်ဖြင့် တည်ဆောက်ကြသည်။ ထိုနည်းတူ ရောဂါကို ခွဲခြားသိမြင်ကာ ဆေးကိုလည်း တိတိကျကျ သုံးစွဲကြသည်။ ဤအရာများသည် ကံတရားသက်သက် သို့မဟုတ် သဘာဝတရားက အလိုအလျောက် ဖြစ်ပေါ်လာခြင်းမဟုတ်ဘဲ၊ ဉာဏ်ပညာနှင့် လက်တွေ့ကျွမ်းကျင်မှုရှိသော ပညာရှိတို့ကသာ မှန်ကန်စွာ ဆောင်ရွက်နိုင်သည်။
