इत्येतल्लोकनिर्माणं ब्रह्मणा विहितं पुरा । प्रजा: समनुवर्तन्ते स्वै: स्वै:ः कर्मभिरावृता:
ity etal loka-nirmāṇaṃ brahmaṇā vihitaṃ purā | prajāḥ samanuvartante svaiḥ svaiḥ karmabhir āvṛtāḥ |
ဘာရဒ္ဝါဇက ပြောသည်– «ဤသို့ပင် ရှေးကာလ၌ ဘြဟ္မာ (Brahmā) သည် လောကတို့၏ စီမံဖွဲ့စည်းမှုကို တည်ထောင်ခဲ့၏။ သတ္တဝါအပေါင်းတို့သည် မိမိတို့၏ ကံကမ္မတို့ဖြင့် ဖုံးလွှမ်းနေကြသဖြင့် ထိုကံအတိုင်း ဆက်လက်လျှောက်လှမ်းကာ ပျော်ရွှင်ခြင်းနှင့် ဒုက္ခကို ခံစားကြ၏»။
