Adhyāya 180: Jīva, Śarīra, and the Fire Analogy (भृगु–भरद्वाज संवादः)
भीष्म उवाच अत्राप्युदाहरन्तीममितिहासं पुरातनम् । प्रह्मादस्यथ च संवादं मुनेराजगरस्य च
bhīṣma uvāca | atrāpy udāharantīmam itihāsaṁ purātanam | prahlādasya tathā ca saṁvādaṁ muner ajagarasya ca ||
ဘိရှ္မက ပြောသည်—“အို မင်းကြီး၊ ဤအကြောင်းအရာ၌လည်း ရှေးဟောင်းသမိုင်းဥပမာတစ်ရပ်ကို ထုတ်ပြကြသည်။ ထိုသည်မှာ ပရဟ္လာဒနှင့် ‘အဇဂရ (မြွေကြီး) ကဲ့သို့’ နေထိုင်သည့် မုနိတစ်ပါးတို့၏ ဆွေးနွေးပွဲ ဖြစ်သည်—တည်ငြိမ်စွာ နေ၍ မကြိုးစားမရှာဖွေဘဲ ရောက်လာသမျှကို လက်ခံခြင်းတည်း။”
