अध्याय १७८ — प्राणवायुगतिः तथा शारीराग्निव्यवस्था
Adhyāya 178 — The courses of prāṇa-vāyu and the regulation of the bodily fire
उद्यम्योद्यम्य मे दम्यौ विषमेणैव गच्छत: । उत्क्षिप्प काकतालीयमुत्पथेनैव धावत:
udyamyodyamya me damyau viṣameṇaiva gacchataḥ | utkṣipya kākātālīyam utpathenaiva dhāvataḥ ||
ဘိဿမက ပြောသည်– «ဤကုလားအုတ်သည် ငါ့ချစ်သော နွားကလေးနှစ်ကောင်ကို ထပ်ခါထပ်ခါ လှုပ်ခါပစ်လျက် မညီမညာသော လမ်းကြမ်းပေါ်မှသာ သွားနေ၏။ ‘ကာက-တာလီယ’ ဟူသော ကောက်ရိုးမဲ့တိုင်တန်းသလို—အလျှင်အမြန်ဖြစ်သည့် ကံတရား၏ တိုက်ဆိုင်မှုကြောင့်—၎င်းတို့ကို လည်ပင်းပေါ်သို့ မြှောက်တင်ပြီး မကောင်းသော လမ်းကြောင်းပေါ်မှ ပြေးလျက်ရှိသည်။ ငါ့အလွန်ချစ်သော နွားကလေးနှစ်ကောင်သည် ၎င်း၏ လည်ချောင်းတွင် မဏိနှစ်လုံးကဲ့သို့ ချိတ်လျက်ရှိ၏။ ဤသည်မှာ ကံကြမ္မာ၏ ကစားပွဲသာ ဖြစ်သည်။ တင်းမာစွာ အားထုတ်ခြင်းတစ်ခုတည်းဖြင့် ဘာကို ရနိုင်မည်နည်း?»
