Adhyāya 174: Karma as an inescapable companion (कर्मानुगमन-उपदेश)
गौतमश्नापि सम्प्राप्प पुनस्तं शबरालयम् । शूद्रायां जनयामास पुत्रान् दुष्कृतकारिण:
Gautamaś cāpi samprāpya punas taṁ śabarālayam | śūdrāyāṁ janayāmāsa putrān duṣkṛtakāriṇaḥ ||
ဘီရှ္မက ပြော၏— «ဂေါတမသည်လည်း ထပ်မံ၍ ရှဗရတို့၏ နေရာချထားရာသို့ ပြန်ရောက်ကာ ထိုနေရာတွင် နေထိုင်လေ၏။ ထို့နောက် ရှူဒြ မိန်းမတစ်ဦးမှတစ်ဆင့် သားများကို မွေးဖွားစေရာ၊ ထိုသားတို့သည် အပြစ်ကံကို ပြုသူများ ဖြစ်လာကြလေ၏။»
