निशम्य दानवा: सर्वे हृष्टा: समभिदुद्रुवु: । भयानक कर्म करनेकी इच्छासे वैसा ही रूप धारण करनेवाले रुद्रदेवको देखकर समस्त दानव हर्ष और उत्साहमें भरकर उनके ऊपर टूट पड़े
niśamya dānavāḥ sarve hṛṣṭāḥ samabhidudruvuḥ | bhayānaka-karma-karaṇecchayā tathaiva rūpaṃ dhārayantaṃ rudradevaṃ dṛṣṭvā samastā dānavā harṣotsāhena pūritāḥ tasyaivopari prapetuḥ |
ဘီရှ္မက ပြောသည်—ဤသို့ ကြားသိရသော် ဒာနဝအားလုံးသည် ဝမ်းမြောက်ကာ တစ်စုတစ်စည်းတည်း ပြေးဝင်လာကြသည်။ ကြောက်မက်ဖွယ် အမှုကို ဆောင်ရွက်လိုသည့် ဆန္ဒနှင့် ကိုက်ညီသော ရုပ်သဏ္ဌာန်ကို ယူဆောင်ထားသည့် ရုဒြာကို မြင်ကြသော် စစ်သွေးစစ်မာန်နှင့် စိတ်လှုပ်ရှားမှု ပြည့်ဝကာ သူ့အပေါ်သို့ တိုက်ခိုက်ရန် ထိုးကျလာကြသည်။
