Tapas as the Root of Attainment (तपः—साधनमूलप्रशंसा)
कृपा : कर ् न फ सदैव शकुनास्तात मृगाश्चाथ तथा गजा: । वसन्ति तव संहृष्टा मनोहर मनोहरा:
kṛpāḥ karṇaphāḥ sadaiva śakunās tāta mṛgāś cātha tathā gajāḥ | vasanti tava saṁhṛṣṭā manohara manoharāḥ ||
ဘီရှ္မက ပြောသည်– «ချစ်သောကလေးရေ—သစ်ပင်တို့၏ အလှတရားရှိသော အရှင်တော်ရေ! သင်၏ ကိုင်းခက်များပေါ်တွင် ငှက်များစွာ အမြဲတမ်း နေထိုင်ကြ၏။ အောက်ဘက်တွင်လည်း သမင်များ မရေမတွက်နိုင်အောင်နှင့် ဆင်များတိုင်တိုင် ပျော်ရွှင်စွာ နေထိုင်ကြ၏။ သင်၏ ရှိနေခြင်းတင်ပင် သတ္တဝါတို့အတွက် ငြိမ်းချမ်းရာ အားကိုးရာ ဖြစ်လာ၏။»
