अहो देहप्रदानेन दर्शितातिथिपूजना

Transliteration

aho deha-pradānena darśitātithi-pūjanā

Translation

ဘီရှ္မက ပြောသည်– «အို! မဟာသတ္တိရှိသော ခိုငှက်သည် မိမိ၏ ကိုယ်ခန္ဓာကိုပင် လှူဒါန်းခြင်းဖြင့် ဧည့်သည်ကို ဂုဏ်ပြုဧည့်ခံခြင်း၏ တောက်ပသော စံနမူနာကို ငါ့ရှေ့တွင် ပြသခဲ့သည်။ ထို့ကြောင့် ယခုမှစ၍ ငါသည် ဓမ္မအတိုင်းသာ ပြုမည်၊ ဓမ္မတည်းဟူသည် အမြင့်ဆုံးသော ခိုလှုံရာနှင့် နောက်ဆုံးရောက်ရာ ဖြစ်သောကြောင့်။ ထိုဓမ္မရှိသော အထူးကောင်းမြတ်သည့် ငှက်ထဲတွင် ငါမြင်တွေ့ခဲ့သည့် ဓမ္မကဲ့သို့ပင်—ထိုဓမ္မကို ငါလည်း မိမိအတွက် လိုလားတောင့်တသည်»။
