कपोती-विलापः स्वर्गसंयोगश्च

नैव निम्नं स्थलं वापि सो$5विन्दत विहड़हा । पूरितो हि जलौघेन तस्य मार्गो वनस्य च,वनका मार्ग जिसपर वह चलता था, जलके प्रवाहमें डूब गया था। उस बहेलियेको नीची-ऊँची भूमिका कुछ पता नहीं चलता था
naiva nimnaṃ sthalaṃ vāpi so 'vindata vihaṅgamaḥ | pūrito hi jalaughena tasya mārgo vanasya ca ||
ဘီရှ္မက ပြောသည်– ငှက်ဖမ်းသမားသည် နိမ့်ရာမြင့်ရာကို မခွဲခြားနိုင်တော့ပေ။ ရေကြီးရေလျှံမှုကြောင့် သူလိုက်နေသော လမ်းကြောင်းသည် ရေအောက်သို့ မြုပ်သွားပြီး တောလမ်းများပင် ရေဖြင့် ဖုံးလွှမ်းသဖြင့် လမ်းဘယ်မှာရှိသည်ကို မသိနိုင်တော့၏။
