Draupadī’s Exhortation on Rājadharma and Daṇḍa (द्रौपद्याः राजधर्मोपदेशः)

द्रौपहुवाच इमे ते भ्रातर: पार्थ शुष्यन्ते स्‍्तोकका इव । वावाश्यमानास्तिष्ठन्ति न चैनानभिनन्दसे,कुन्तीकुमार! आपके ये भाई आपका संकल्प सुनकर सूख गये हैं; पपीहोंके समान आपसे राज्य करनेकी रट लगा रहे हैं; फिर भी आप इनका अभिनन्दन नहीं करते? ।।

Draupadī uvāca: ime te bhrātaraḥ Pārtha śuṣyante stokakā iva | vāvāśyamānās tiṣṭhanti na cainān abhinandase, Kuntīkumarā ||

ဒြောပဒီက ပြောသည်– “အို ပါရ္ထ၊ သင်၏ ညီအစ်ကိုတို့သည် ရေကန်ငယ်များ ခြောက်သွေ့သကဲ့သို့ ခြောက်ကပ်လာကြပြီ။ မိုးကို ခေါ်သံထွက်သော ရေငတ်ငှက်များကဲ့သို့ သင့်ရှေ့တွင် ငိုယိုတောင်းပန်ကာ မင်းအဖြစ်ကို လက်ခံရန် တိုက်တွန်းနေကြသည်။ သို့သော် ကုန္တီ၏ သားတော်၊ သင်သည် သူတို့ကို အတည်ပြုချီးမွမ်းသည့် အမူအရာတောင် မပြုပါလော။”
