आपद्धर्मे राज्ञः नीतिः — Bharadvāja’s Counsel on Crisis-Statecraft (Śānti Parva 138)
अथ सम्प्रतिपत्तिज्ञ: प्राब्रवीद् दीर्घदर्शिनम् । प्राप्ते काले न मे किंचिन्न्यायत: परिहास्यते
atha sampratipattijñaḥ prābravīd dīrghadarśinam | prāpte kāle na me kiñcin nyāyataḥ parihāsyate ||
ဘီရှ္မက ပြောသည်– ထို့နောက် ဆုံးဖြတ်ချက်မှန်ကန်မှုကို သိကျွမ်းသူက အဝေးမြင်သူအား ပြော하였다– “မိတ်ဆွေ၊ အချိန်တန်လာသောအခါ ငါ၏ ဉာဏ်သည် တရားသဘောအတိုင်း လမ်းကြောင်းသင့်တော်ရာကို ရှာဖွေတွေ့ရှိရာ၌ မလွဲမသွေ ဖြစ်သည်။ တရားနှင့် ကိုက်ညီသမျှကို မလွတ်မကျန် မပြုမထားဘဲ မရှိ” ဟု ဆို하였다။
