Śīla-prāpti and Śīla-lakṣaṇa (शीलप्राप्ति-शीललक्षणम्) | On the Acquisition and Marks of Character
कामन्दमृषिमासीनमभिवाद्य नराधिप: । आडज््रिष्ठो5थ पप्रच्छ कृत्वा समयपर्ययम्,एक समयकी बात है, कामन्दक ऋषि अपने आश्रममें बैठे थे। उन्हें प्रणाम करके राजा आंगरिष्ने प्रश्नके उपयुक्त समय देखकर पूछा--
Bhīṣma uvāca | Kāmandam ṛṣim āsīnam abhivādya narādhipaḥ | Āṅgāriṣṭho 'tha papraccha kṛtvā samaya-paryayam ||
ဘိဿမက မိန့်ကြားသည်– «တစ်ခါက မုနိ ကာမန္ဒသည် မိမိ၏ အာရှရမ်၌ ထိုင်နေ၏။ ဘုရင်တစ်ပါးက ချဉ်းကပ်လာ၍ လေးစားစွာ ဦးညွှတ်ပူဇော်ပြီး၊ သင့်တော်သော အခါအချိန်ကို ချိန်ဆကာ ထို့နောက် မေးမြန်းလေ၏—အချိန်နှင့် စည်းကမ်းကို သိမြင်ကာ အကြံဉာဏ်ကို တောင်းခံသကဲ့သို့ ဖြစ်သည်။»
