भीष्म उवाच अत्रायं क्षेमदर्शीय इतिहासो5नुगीयते । तत्‌ ते5हं सम्प्रवक्ष्यामि तन्निबोध युधिष्ठिर

Transliteration

bhīṣma uvāca | atrāyaṃ kṣemadarśīya itihāso 'nugīyate | tat te 'haṃ sampravakṣyāmi tan nibodha yudhiṣṭhira ||

Translation

ဘိဿမက ပြောသည်။ “ယုဓိဋ္ဌိရ၊ ဤကိစ္စနှင့်ပတ်သက်၍ ကောင်းကျိုးနှင့် လုံခြုံရေး၏ လမ်းကို ဖော်ပြသော ရှေးဟောင်းအကြောင်းအရာတစ်ပုဒ်ကို လောကတွင် မကြာခဏ ပြန်လည်ရွတ်ဆိုကြသည်။ ထိုအကြောင်းကို ငါသည် သင်အား ပြောပြမည်။ အာရုံစိုက်၍ နားထောင်လော့၊ ယုဓိဋ္ဌိရ။”
