रणभूमिवर्णनम् — Devāsuropama-yuddha and the ‘River’ Metaphor of the Battlefield
शृणु राजन् स्थिरो भूत्वा संग्रामं शंसतो मम । संजयने कहा--राजन्! जहाँ हाथी, घोड़े और मनुष्योंके शरीरोंका महान् संहार हुआ था, उस संग्रामका मैं वर्णन करता हूँ; आप सुस्थिर होकर सुनिये
śṛṇu rājan sthiro bhūtvā saṅgrāmaṃ śaṃsato mama |
သဉ္ဇယက ပြောသည်– “အို မင်းကြီး၊ စိတ်ကို တည်ငြိမ်စွာထား၍ နားထောင်ပါ။ ဆင်၊ မြင်းနှင့် လူတို့ အလွန်အမင်း သတ်ဖြတ်ပျက်စီးခဲ့သော ထိုစစ်ပွဲကို ကျွန်ုပ် ပြန်လည်ဖော်ပြမည်—တည်ငြိမ်စွာ နားထောင်တော်မူပါ။”
