गदायुद्ध-समारम्भः
Commencement of the Mace-Duel Proceedings
आप्लुत: सलिले पुण्ये सुशीते विमले शुचौ । संतर्पयामास पितृन् देवांश्व रणदुर्मद:
vaiśaṃpāyana uvāca |
āplutaḥ salile puṇye suśīte vimale śucau |
santarpayāmāsa pitṝn devāṃś ca raṇadurmadaḥ ||
ဝိုင်ရှမ္ပာယနက ပြောသည်။ အေးမြ၍ ကြည်လင်သန့်ရှင်းသော ကုသိုလ်ရေ၌ ရေချိုးပြီးနောက်၊ စစ်ပွဲ၌ မာန်ကြီးသူဟု အမည်ကျော် «ရဏဒုရ္မဒ» ဘလရာမ မဟာဗလသည် ဒေဝတားတို့နှင့် ပိတೃ (ဘိုးဘွားဝိညာဉ်) တို့အတွက် တർပဏ (စိတ်ကျေနပ်စေသော ရေဓာတ်ပူဇော်) ကို ပြုလုပ်하였다။ ဤအပိုဒ်သည် အင်အားကြီးသော စစ်သူရဲတစ်ဦးပင် သန့်စင်မှု၊ ဒါန၊ ဒေဝတားနှင့် ပိတೃတို့ကို ရိုသေခြင်းဖြင့် ဓမ္မကို ထိန်းသိမ်းကြောင်းကို ဖော်ပြသည်။
