गदायुद्ध-समारम्भः
Commencement of the Mace-Duel Proceedings
सम्प्राप्त: कारपवन प्रवरं तीर्थमुत्तमम् । हलायुधस्तत्र चापि दत्त्वा दानं महाबल:
samprāptaḥ kārapavana-pravaraṃ tīrtham uttamam | halāyudhas tatra cāpi dattvā dānaṃ mahābalaḥ ||
ဝိုင်ရှမ္ပာယနက ပြောသည်—ထွန်လက်နက်ကို ကိုင်ဆောင်သည့် အင်အားကြီး ဘလရာမသည် «ကာရပဝန» ဟု ခေါ်သော အထူးကောင်းမြတ်၍ အရှေ့ဆုံး တီရ္ထသို့ ရောက်하였다။ ထိုနေရာ၌ သူသည် ပေးကမ်းလှူဒါန်းမှုများကို ပြုလုပ်ကာ နေရာ၏ သန့်ရှင်းမြတ်နိုးမှုကို ဂုဏ်ပြု하였다။ ဤအပိုဒ်သည် စစ်ပွဲ၏ အကြမ်းဖက်မှုအလယ်၌ ဓမ္မတရားအတိုင်း ခဏရပ်နားခြင်းကို ထင်ဟပ်စေသည်—စစ်သူရဲ၏ အင်အားသည် ဘုရားဖူးခရီး၊ သန့်စင်မှုနှင့် ရိုသေမှုတို့ဖြင့် တည်ငြိမ်လာကာ၊ လှူဒါန်းခြင်းနှင့် ဒေဝတား၊ ရသီ၊ ဘိုးဘွားတို့အပေါ် ထုံးတမ်းတာဝန်များဖြင့် ထင်ရှားလာသည်။
